I’m always fighting with weird stylized people and proportions. Making figures intentionally wonky but then shading them in any kind of naturalistic way just seems to turn into a mess for me. But I am not unhappy with this. Mostly because it just looks like a direct copy of Gennady Spirin. I want that guy to be my honorary grandpa.
Anyway, Ysolde and her husbando. For the sake of not giving my portfolio class two “small dude/giant lion” pictures in a row, she’s not wearing her skin in this picture. But in the story itself he proposed to her while she was a giant monster. The silly knife will have to stand in for the threat of imminent death.
